we are proud to finally present a pistol-only custom racket made with Kiso Hinoki.

Based on 9 years of Goziptong’s accumulated racket-making know-how,
we have repeatedly researched and experimented with one clear goal:
to achieve performance beyond that of solid Kiso Hinoki blades.
As a result, we have created a new masterpiece that surpasses even the original Charisma Gold Pistol—
the Kiso Hinoki Charisma Gold Pistol.

1. Why Kiso Hinoki?

Kiso Hinoki that is over 400 years old is a wood species
whose logging is now extremely restricted,
making it very difficult to obtain solid blades from it.

Its rarity has increased to the point where people say:
“Even if you pay 500,000 KRW, it’s hard to get one.”

So Goziptong asked a simple question:

“Is there a way to surpass the feel and performance
of a solid Kiso Hinoki blade—
even if we have to approach it differently?”

From that question began the development of a special multi-ply structure,
made by separating and recombining Kiso Hinoki into a custom blade composition.

2. Years of trial and error – and a breakthrough

We tried splitting Kiso Hinoki into several layers and combining it again,
experimented with many different blade woods and carbon combinations,
but at first, it was difficult to achieve a result we were truly satisfied with.

Then one day, from a single pistol blade created
with a carefully tuned combination of Kiso Hinoki and various woods,
a turning point arrived.

In testing,
we achieved what could be described as
“a feel and performance beyond 400-year-old solid hinoki.”
Everyone who tried it agreed that the touch and feedback were exceptional.
